Vital Insurance Agency and the Northern Illinois Food Bank Launch Joint Charity Drive to Feed Local Underprivileged Families
Bolingbrook, IL (PRWEB) December 21, 2016 -- Vital Insurance Agency, a Chicago area firm offering asset protection assistance and financial consultations to communities throughout northern Illinois, is launching a charity event that promises to improve community support for the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
A longstanding nonprofit with a 13 county service area that encompasses the Chicago area, the Northern Illinois Food Bank offers nutritious meals and innovative food distribution programs to combat the growing problems of hunger and food insecurity in the region. More than 71,000 area residents engage the services of the Northern Illinois Food Bank to receive meals each week.
“One in seven families in northern Illinois is facing a food shortage challenge, and by working with the Northern Illinois Food Bank we hope to provide all the families in our area with healthy holiday meals,” says Miguel Gonzalez, founder and president of Vital Insurance Agency.
