Friendswood, TX (PRWEB) November 25, 2015 -- For the first time, Vitalalert is donating half of its earnings to MAP International through the companies’ “Two Organizations, One Beat” campaign. The partnership between the two groups began in 2014 with Vitalalert pledging a portion of every purchase of its services to aid in MAP International’s cause.
MAP International was founded in 1954 and is an international Christian-based health organization whose mission is to “advance the Total Health of people living in the world’s poorest communities”. The increase in Vitalalert’s donation will provide more medication and health services than before.
Vitalalert provides a 24/7 Doctors Helpline service. This allows member patients to consult with board certified physicians at any time, over the phone or video call, for non-emergency medical conditions, such as asthma, allergies, and rashes. Naveed Ali, Vitalalert’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales, says that, “The reason why we have chosen this charity is because it effectively delivers medical supplies not only in the US but worldwide. We couldn't think of a better way to complement our medical services”.
With Vitalalert’s services, member patients not only can have unlimited calls to doctors, but they also can receive recommended treatment plans, download a copy of their electronic medical record to share with their Primary Care Physician, and have prescriptions filled when applicable. Membership includes not just individuals, but families as well.
Funds and supplies donated to MAP International help developing countries by supporting community health development, preventing and diminishing diseases, providing essential medicine and health products and aiding in disaster relief. Through this collaborative effort, the hope of Vitalalert, according to Ali, is to “alleviate or eradicate poverty throughout the world".
