Columbia, MD (PRWEB) December 16, 2014 -- December 15, 2014 – Columbia, MD – VitusVet, LLC, the veterinary software that provides continuous care for pet owners by sharing medical records anywhere at any time from any Practice Management System, today announced it has been selected as one of only fifteen companies to be featured in the New Product Gallery of the North American Veterinary Community Conference 2015 (NAVC). Typically the New Product Gallery showcases companies who have developed new equipment or supplies for veterinary practices. It is not often that a new software product is chosen for the Gallery.
Dr. Mark Olcott, DVM, CEO of VitusVet said, “We are humbled and honored to be selected as one of the 15 best new veterinary technologies in the nation. We believe that VitusVet is the next generation of veterinary care and are thrilled to have the industry stand behind us in this assertion.”
The selection criteria and approval process for the New Product Gallery is based on various criteria, including innovation and impact on everyday veterinary practice. The selection committee is made up of past NAVC presidents all of whom are practicing veterinarians. NAVC Board members and experts representing various disciplines and sectors of veterinary practice help the selection committee in making appropriate and representative selections. There will be over 16,000 attendees and 620 exhibitors at the event. And only 15 companies were selected to be part of the New Product Gallery.
Dr. Mia Cary, DVM, Vice President of Corporate Relations with the NAVC said that, ” Because the NAVC Conference is the first large conference of the year the NAVC New Product Gallery is the showcase for the newest and most valuable products for veterinary professionals. The selection committee focuses on not only what's new and novel but also on those products that will truly be useful in the daily routines of veterinary practice. Products that make a difference by allowing us to provide better care for our patients.”
