Vlad Petrovic joins Fitness on the Go in Downtown Vancouver
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) February 18, 2015 -- Vlad Petrovic has been involved in sports for most of his life. Growing up in former Yugoslavia, physical activity was an essential part of every child’s daily activity. In his early years, he participated in a wide variety of sports from long distance running to swimming to karate. At the age of 12 he started playing basketball which is his passion to this day. He was also introduced to weights which led his father to build an in-home gym (or rather an “in the children’s bedroom gym”) where he gave instructions to his younger brother and friends. This was his first experience to in-home personal training at the young age of 15.
During his professional career in computer sciences, Vlad continued his passion for physical activities, specifically basketball and weight training. Moving to Vancouver in the fall of 1996 he found the perfect fitness environment in the west coast where he could continue his healthy lifestyle with hiking, biking, swimming, yoga and tennis.
After raising two beautiful children, a thirteen year old son and a ten year old daughter, and running a software company, Vlad decided the time had come to turn his passion for fitness into a career. He completed his personal training certification in April of 2014 and is excited to be an in home personal trainer in Vancouver with Fitness on the Go - Canada's largest in-home personal training company.
With his vast experience in sport, and his knowledge of dealing with various injuries, Vlad wants to have a fulfilling life by giving back to the community and instilling physical activity into others as a personal trainer in Vancouver. Vlad is an active runner and loves to play basketball and at 46 years old, Vlad is proud he can still slam dunk!
