Vocademy Takes UK Festivals and Communities by Storm
Brighton, Sussex (PRWEB UK) 28 July 2013 -- School’s out and it’s been lovely, hot weather; summer is well and truly here... and what a holiday it is turning out to be! For Vocademy students it’s not just the sunshine keeping their spirits high. They are all busy performing at charity and community events, festivals and even running their own open mic nights!
"We want our students to be constantly involved within communities, to stay active and enjoy their singing. It is so rewarding to see how well it is all going this year, we work really hard to give them more than just classroom time," says Sam Black Vocademy Manager.
Although by the sounds of it, it is not just the Vocademy team that makes these events happen. They are constantly being approached by local companies, community members and even radio stations such as HeartFM.
Sam says, "It’s overwhelming how much support Vocademy has. ‘One Big Gig’ are running many of the events we are involved in. On one occasion the organiser, Paul, was willing to completely shuffle the day’s structure around so that our students could sing at the Horsham Garden Music Festival."
This year Vocademy have performances going on every week, often more than one. The creative minds of the teachers and office team has meant the performances are planned to be exciting and to stand out. It is very impressive how hard Vocademy works at making sure the students are constantly gaining experience and feeling motivated. The passion in all involved with the company is what causes them to do so well at the events.
A previous Vocademy customer Sarah Bulman says "Vocademy played at Broadwater last year and we are so pleased they are coming back this year. The energy and enthusiasm that these youngsters have is really refreshing, they bring so much personality to the event."
And, on the opposite side, Vocademy singing student Sarah (age 9) says, "Performing at big events is scary but really fun. It’s like I am a star. I like it as there are lots of people and we get lots of applause."
