Voting Period Begins for Pride Roofing Services’ No Roof Left Behind Program
Pasco County, FL (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- No Roof Left Behind is a national program that works with generous donors and sponsors to provide local contractors with the resources needed to help families that can’t afford the high cost of installing a new structure on their home. Representing the program in Pasco County, the contractors at Pride Roofing joined the No Roof Left Behind to help struggling homeowners of the area who are in need of help.
"I stand behind my Christian beliefs,” said Chris Hloska, owner of Pride Roofing Services, “ As in Lev 25:35, ‘If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you.’ I feel like I need to be the leader and set this example for my family and the people who work for Pride Roofing."
Pride Roofing began the search for worthy families in their community in September 2014, and after much consideration, the nominees were narrowed down to four.
“Having grown up in Pasco County,” said Hloska, “I personally want to give back to the community that helped raise me."
The voting period will last until Feb. 28, during which time the public will be able to read stories about each of the four finalists and vote for the one most deserving of this opportunity. The winner will be announced March 9, and the roof replacement process will begin.
“It is very rewarding to be in a position where we can be a part of offering a helping hand to someone who is truly deserving of some good will. These folks are so excited already and the winner hasn't even been selected yet. I can't wait to see how the winner will react!” said Hloska.
