W.B. Stiles’ New Science Fiction Features Super Humans in Battle of Good Versus Evil
LODI, Calif. (PRWEB) February 27, 2015 -- The paths of a newspaper reporter and a man with superhuman powers converge as the latter prepares to lead a group of super humans to fight evil in the new science-fiction novel by W.B. Stiles, “The Gathering: Book One of the Project Genesis Series” (published by iUniverse).
In this kick-starter to the Project Genesis series, Seattle Gazette reporter Jane Watkins agrees to meet a source with information about a serial killer known as The Slasher, only to find herself facing the killer himself instead of an anonymous tipster. This encounter nearly spells Jane’s demise, but she is miraculously saved by a glowing figure who calls himself The Advocate.
Stiles says “The Gathering” promises readers an adventurous tale of good versus evil, transmitted through a Christian lens.
“It’s about super heroes that try to keep their existence away from the public,” Stiles says. “It is about other dimensions, worlds that exist around us and the supernatural.”
As the plot of “The Gathering” thickens, Jane dedicates herself to finding the origin of The Advocate’s powers while he, himself, works to train other super humans for a mission to benefit the greater good of humanity.
