Michael has over 25 years of experience, providing comprehensive technology solutions for the following industries: Financial Services, Consulting, Audit and Tax, Insurance and Healthcare. Throughout his professional career he has developed vast experience at analyzing IT organizations and business requirements, rapidly developing solutions and remedies, and seeing those transformations carried out to full and successful implementation. He works with Chief Executives to understand their strategic plans and is tasked with developing the IT strategy and organizational structure to deliver and enhance these plans. Michael also has considerable international experience, having traveled and conducted business in more than 25 countries. His career reflects a series of significant achievements and accomplishments across several different industries and it has provided him with immeasurable management experience and knowledge across the different Information Technology disciplines.
Mr. Fremgen is a graduate of Seton Hall University and served in the United States Marine Corp 1984 to 1988. He was recalled to active duty for the Gulf War in 1991.
James Kostulias, Chief Information Officer, TD Ameritrade
James Kostulias serves as TD Ameritrade’s Chief Information Officer (since 2011), responsible for all Active Trader, Retail, Institutional, Corporate, E-Commerce and Marketing technology needs as well as Market Data Strategy and Management. Prior to this role, he led the integration of thinkorswim and TD Ameritrade overseeing the delivery of technical, Client Service and Operational projects.
In his ten years at TD Ameritrade, Kostulias has held a variety of leadership roles in both Technology within the Project Management and Application Development areas and the Active Trader Business developing the Product and Platform Strategy. This included the acquisition and integration of multiple firms with advanced trading platforms, new research offerings and marketing initiatives, all leading to TD Ameritrade’s industry-leading daily average revenue trade (DART) volumes.
James has spent over 17 years in Financial Services, starting with Datek Online where he held a variety of Operational Management Positions in 1998 and continuing on to Moody’s Investor Services, where he designed and implemented a Global Professional Development Training Program for over 300 Senior Credit Analysts in 12 countries. James holds Series 7, 63, 24, and 4 licenses and a BA from Rutgers University.
Casey Santos, Chief Information Officer, General Atlantic
Ms. Santos joined General Atlantic in 2014 and works from the firm's New York office.
Prior to General Atlantic, Ms. Santos served as head of IT for twelve years at MIO Partners, McKinsey's private investment group, after having moved over from the firm's consulting business. Prior to that, Ms. Santos worked in a number of technical roles at different companies, including having spent four years at NASA's Johnson Space Center.
Ms. Santos holds a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and both an M.B.A. and a Masters in Management and International Studies from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
