Warm March Breezes Complement Abundant Activities Offered to All Ages in Sunny Isles Beach
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (PRWEB) February 27, 2015 -- The City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural and Community Services Department offers programs throughout the year, and March seems to be a very busy month. As the winter season is winding down, spring is blooming with seminars, concerts, classes and social gatherings.
For the kids, the two final Family Movie Nights of the school year will take place on Friday, March 6 (Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue) and Saturday, March 7 (Town Center Park, 17200 Collins Avenue). The Frozen-themed fun begins at 7:00 pm with the movie showing at 7:30 pm. Entrance is free, patrons should bring their own chair or blanket. Burgers, hotdogs, soda and water are offered for sale by the local Kiwanis Club.
For those young at heart, but full of wisdom, the Tuesday, March 10 Golden Era Movie is the place to be. The movie classic Father of the Bride will be shown at 10:00 am in the multipurpose room at Pelican Community Park (18115 North Bay Road). Reservations are required. Complimentary admission is offered to holders of the SIB Resident ID Card, without the card the admission is $5.00.
Finally, for adults who enjoy the finer things in life, look no further than the Beethoven on the Beach concert, on Sunday, March 29 at 6:30 pm featuring Orchestra Miami. This classical music presentation is conducted by Elaine Rinaldi and features special guest soprano Jouvanca Jean-Baptiste. The venue for this event is the beautiful Heritage Park (19200 Collins Avenue). Entrance to the park is complimentary as is parking in the garage or under the William Lehman Causeway.
