Arlington, VA (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- In a few short weeks, award-winning nonprofit Warrior Gateway and professional mural artist Sam Welty are honoring America's bravest men and women from the Korean War by unveiling 3 large murals totaling over 11,000 square feet. In partnership with American Airlines Sky Ball XII, these murals are part of the Patriots in Paint initiative to honor veterans, their service and sacrifice through the creation of permanent art installations across the nation.
"For the second year in a row, Warrior Gateway is proud to partner with American Airlines Sky Ball to highlight the service of our nations veterans of all generations." said Devin B. Holmes, Warrior Gateway's Chief Executive Officer. "This annual event raises funds to support the Fort Worth Airpower Foundation, an excellent organization supporting programs that benefit veterans and their families. Sam and I are honored to bring the Patriots in Paint initiative to Texas to support them as part of this event."
With over 1 million veterans living in Texas, Warrior Gateway helps answer the question “Where do I go for help?” for both veterans and their families. There are thousands of organizations in Texas serving the military community but it is often difficult for those in need to identify which services and resources best fit these needs. Warrior Gateway’s award winning technology solves that problem. In addition, creating permanent works of art continues to remind communities around the country about the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families.
