Warriors Publishing Group Recognized as Vietnam War Commemorative Partner
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2015 -- Warriors Publishing Group is honored to be the first book publisher recognized as an official partner in supporting the Vietnam War Commemorative Program. The Program, authorized by Congress in conjunction with the war’s 50th anniversary, focuses on thanking Vietnam Veterans and their families for their sacrifice during the Vietnam War.
Warriors Publishing Group’s participation in the Commemorative Partner Program includes their commitment to hold an annual literacy-based event from 2015-2017 that “honors the service, valor, and sacrifice of Vietnam Veterans and their families". The first such endeavor is Warriors Publishing Group’s “Backbone for Small Business” campaign. Centered on founder Julia Dewey Dye’s acclaimed book, "Backbone: History, Tradition, and Leadership Lessons of Marine Corps NCOs", the campaign seeks to support the small business efforts of veterans and their families. “Backbone for Small Business” will launch in June 2015.
Julia Dewey Dye, Ph.D. founder and publisher noted, "Warriors Publishing Group is proud to be a recognized partner in the Vietnam War 50th Commemorative Program. We look forward to launching ‘Backbone for Small Business’ in support of veterans and their families.”
