Washington, D.C. Celebrates Monroe Street Market’s Official Grand Opening
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 03, 2014 -- Representatives from The Bozzuto Group, Abdo Development, and The Catholic University of America were joined by Mayor Vincent C. Gray and District of Columbia Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie yesterday evening to celebrate the official Grand Opening of Monroe Street Market in the Brookland neighborhood of Northeast D.C.
During the celebration, a plaza within Monroe Street Market was officially dedicated to Bishop David M. O’Connell, previous president of Catholic University and current Diocese of Trenton, New Jersey.

Retailers at Monroe Street Market include Barnes & Noble @ Catholic University, Brookland Pint, a 4,200 square foot restaurant owned by the team behind Meridian Pint and Smoke & Barrel, Busboys and Poets, &pizza, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, The Bike Rack, and Filter Coffeehouse. Retail leasing is being handled by H&R Retail.
