Washington DC Moving Company Gentle Giant Announces Promotional Sponsorship of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon
Washington DC (PRWEB) March 13, 2015 -- Washington DC moving company Gentle Giant, an award winning local and long distance mover based in Massachusetts with offices across the country, announced today that it will sponsor the 4th annual 2015 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon, put on by the organization Competitor Group. Taking place on Saturday March 14th, the Rock ‘n’ Roll races require the transportation and storage of supplies, food, beverages, signage, and athletic equipment for thousands of participants and volunteers at the road race. Gentle Giant’s Washington DC move crews will assist in pre-race and marathon day planning and logistics, working directly with Competitor Group staff.
Gentle Giant will be assisting with:
• Loading of Gentle Giant trucks and delivery of Marathon goods and equipment, including food, supplies, equipment, and water to the finish line
• Setup alongside Marathon volunteers beginning early on race day and ending with post-race consolidation and removals
• Gentle Giant movers on hand throughout race day, helping move cases of water and other tasks as they arise
Gentle Giant Washington DC Regional Manager Matt Packebusch will serve as the project manager for the marathon.
