Watch the Videos: Video from the Kauffman Foundation’s 7th Annual State of Entrepreneurship Address Now Available
Kansas City, Mo (PRWEB) February 22, 2016 -- WHAT: The Kauffman Foundation has posted videos featuring the 2016 State of Entrepreneurship Address, guest speaker remarks and panel discussions. This year’s address focused on the “startup deficit” and ways to promote entrepreneurial growth in the years to come.
WHO: Three video clips feature:
• Kauffman Foundation President and CEO Wendy Guillies presenting the “New Entrepreneurial Growth Agenda” filled with policy recommendations from leading economists and entrepreneurial researchers that suggest:
o Increasing federal research and development investments to catalyze innovation and entrepreneurship
o Expanding the labor force through a startup visa that would create a pathway for immigrant entrepreneurs
o Reducing risk for potential startup founders through entrepreneurship insurance
• Rep. Steve Chabot—chairman of the House Small Business Committee, speaking about how Congress can empower America’s entrepreneurs.
• Bloomberg View Columnist Paula Dwyer moderating two panels:
o The first featuring contributors to the New Entrepreneurial Growth Agenda, who offered recommendations for how to support entrepreneurship and business growth.
o The second featuring former U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett and former Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman, who provided political commentary and feedback.
