FAIRFAX STATION, Va. (PRWEB) March 06, 2018 -- Representatives with Water Blossom Creations LLC, a Fairfax Station, Virginia-based company announced today it will now donate 10 percent of its profits to the American Cancer Society.
“We believe in being more than a product, but being a company that also brings good into our community, our nation, and our world,” said Pamela Riffe, president and spokesperson for Water Blossom Creations. LLC, a company that invented, manufactures and distributes the Water Blossom decorative root watering tool. “What’s equally great is that our customers will also contribute to this greater cause that our company has committed to.”
Riffe explained that Water Blossom Creations will now donate 10 percent of its profits from its pink Water Blossoms, the Jazmine Fuchsia and Emily Pink slipper, to Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society until May 2018.
Cancer is a leading cause of death around the world and its incidence continues to rise. Relay for Life is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. Its mission is to free the world from cancer and has invested more than 4.6 billion in cancer research since 1946. Each year 12.7 million people discover they have cancer and 7.6 million people die from the disease.
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. Established in 1913, the society is organized into eleven geographical divisions of both medical and lay volunteers operating in more than 900 offices throughout the United States. Its home office is located in the American Cancer Society Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
