Water is Essential to Staying Healthy According to Fresh Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne
Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Sharon Kleyne will discuss fresh water and health with Winston Kao on the Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water® radio show on June 15.
Winston Kao is the author of “Clarify and Simplify the Water Confusion” and “Ideal Earth Water” which are both available as ebooks on his website http://www.gobeyondorganic.com.
According to Kao, “many common ailments and illnesses can be prevented and greatly reduced by an increased intake of healthy water.”[1] Kleyne talks weekly about the connection between disease and lack of water on her radio show, and “while most doctors recommend eight glasses, or 64 ounces a day, Kleyne regards this as the absolute minimum. While everyone's daily water needs differ, she suggests ten glasses or 80 ounces a day.” [2]
A recent study found that most American children and teens aren’t getting enough fluids, and that the lack of water and other fluids is leaving them dehydrated. In fact, one-quarter of children don’t drink any water as part of their daily fluid intake, according to the study. [3] It’s important to take other conditions into consideration when calculating your daily water intake needs. Body and environmental water evaporation can be caused by a number of causes, such as warm weather and exercise, and more water is needed to offset that moisture loss.
Kleyne has devoted herself to fresh water education and awareness about water in her work as a water advocate. Her weekly radio show serves as a platform to discuss water issues and the broader effect they have on the planet. Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water® is heard weekly on the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel and Health and Wellness Channel, and on Apple iTunes. Past shows may be heard in podcast at VoiceAmerica, Apple iTunes, and http://www.sharonkleynehour.com.
