Wayne Homes Hosts Annual Trade Partner Expo
Uniontown, OH (PRWEB) November 24, 2015 -- Wayne Home employees and trade partners gathered at The Galaxy in Wadsworth, Ohio on October 28th and 29th, 2015 for the annual Trade Partner Expo. The Expo was designed to give Wayne Home’s sales and construction teams a deeper knowledge of individual building products and why those specific products are chosen. This was also a chance for Wayne Homes employees, from sales to the back office, to learn about brand new products that are just coming to market.
When Vice President of Purchasing, Tom Benedict came up with the idea to host a partner expo, he wanted to expand employee knowledge when it came to the products that customers were using to build their dream homes. “Having an event where our trade partners can set up product displays and conduct presentations is extremely beneficial for the employees of Wayne Homes. Our goal of the Expo is to provide employees the opportunity to learn about the products that come standard with our homes as well as custom options that are also available to our customers when building their custom home.”
The newest addition to this year’s expo was the kitchen display highlighting Aristokraft cabinets by Master Brand. Having actual products put together and on display was a great visual aid for Wayne Homes employees. This gave the trade partners the opportunity to showcase their products as well as demonstrate the different custom options that are available. “Showing cabinets, countertops, and sinks together in one “kitchen display room” at the Expo was so helpful. It gave us the chance to talk with the experts in these areas all at once, and really get an idea of how everything fits together,” stated Design Center Product Coordinator, Megan Moncrief.
Trade Partner, Dan Bors from Gerber said, “The Wayne Homes Expo is the BEST builder show that I have attended. There is no other way to have an opportunity to meet with that many builder employees in two days and receive the attention that they all give the vendors. I am amazed that the sales force and everyone takes so much time to learn the product and have genuine interest. I don’t know of a better way to reach your associates other than the expo.”
