WCPE FM Offers Special Programming for the Winter Holidays
Wake Forest, N.C. (PRWEB) December 17, 2016 -- WCPE’s Music Director William Woltz announces the station’s seasonal music offerings for December 17, 2016 through January 1, 2017.
“WCPE is pleased to offer unique programs of holiday music,” says Woltz.
"Lullabies and Carols for Christmas" is a program of beautiful and relaxing songs for the season presented by Rob Kennedy, host of WCPE's Great Sacred Music every Sunday morning. Rob has chosen a mix of favorite songs with some added surprises to make for a delightful hour of music.

Following our special Chanukah program, WCPE’s Bob Chapman presents three hours of favorite Christmas works sung by the stars of the opera stage beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Rob Kennedy will be with listeners on Christmas Day morning from 6 a.m. until 12 noon eastern. Familiar carols and other beautiful music of the season will be on The Classical Station as presents are unwrapped and the company of family and friends is enjoyed.
New Year’s Eve will ring out the old and in the new with favorite waltzes, marches and other classics by Viennese composers Josef Lanner, Emil Walteufel and the Strauss Family, 10 p.m. to midnight. Beethoven’s Ninth will be featured on New Year’s Day at 3 p.m. Listeners can request their seasonal favorites on All Request Friday December 30, 2016 here.
