We’re SO Excited!: TV Store Online Launches ‘Saved by the Bell’ T-Shirt Design Contest
Commerce Township, MI (PRWEB) July 05, 2013 -- For more than 20 years, NBC’s “Saved By the Bell” has proven its staying power as a pop-culture phenomenon.
The Saturday morning show about six friends each representing a different high-school stereotype – the preppy, the jock, the beauty, the nerd, the fashionista, and the feminist – has spawned two TV movies and two spin-off series over the years, and anticipation for a reunion of the original cast members remains high.
While we all wait on pins and needles for Zack, Slater, Kelly, Jessie, Lisa, and Screech to head back to Bayside High one more time however, TV Store Online – the Web’s leading TV-and-movie apparel site – wants to help you get in the Tiger spirit with an all-new “Saved by the Bell” T-shirt Design Contest.
In collaboration with the official “Saved by the Bell” franchise, the “Saved by the Bell” T-shirt Design Contest invites entrants to submit original T-shirt designs based on the beloved series. Entrants are welcome to submit any design they’d like so long as it pertains to the original “Saved by the Bell” series.
For inspiration, entrants may visit TV Store Online’s selection of officially licensed “Saved by the Bell” apparel and Saved by the Bell costumes, but all submissions to the Saved by the Bell T-shirt Design Contest must be original and deviate completely from these officially licensed designs on TV Store Online.
According to Vanessa Hajjar, Operations Manager at TVStoreOnline.com, “Even though the show ended 20 years ago, it’s effect on every child who lived and breathed in the ’90s is undeniable. Because of this, we are ‘so excited and we just can’t hide it.’ We know that the fans will come up with designs that are not only nostalgic, but are sure to bring a smile to any face.”
Submissions to the “Saved by the Bell” T-shirt Design Contest will be accepted until July 24, 2013, at 11:59 p.m. Uploaded designs must be at least 300dpi in JPG, PNG, or GIF formats. Submissions may be slightly altered for licensing approval purposes.
Cash prizes will be awarded to three winners in the amounts of $500 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place – which is almost as good as beating Bayside rivals, the Valley Bulldogs, on their own turf. Almost.
