Wearable Metronome Invented (DLL-3282)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 01, 2017 -- PITTSBURGH...An inventor from Fort Worth, Texas, has invented CONNECT MET, a newly designed metronome for musicians and other such individuals that is more practical and convenient than traditional metronomes. "I was inspired by watching Nyle DiMarco perform on Dancing with the Stars. Because he is deaf, his main issue was keeping tempo with the music," said the inventor. "If he had a device such as this, his performances would have been perfect!"
CONNECT MET allows an individual to “feel” the tempo as a rhythm against the skin, rather than relying on sight and sound, which makes it easier for the individual to maintain proper tempo, particularly during a musical performance. Because this invention eliminates the need to keep tempo by sight or sound, it results in better timekeeping and enhanced performance.
This invention would be beneficial to a wide range of instructors and performers, including individuals and groups, as it helps to establish proper tempo for all users. The metronome can be set to (1) one specific tempo, (2) custom tempo(s), (3) manual touch tempo or (4) "auto" function. Tempo can be set by individual or remote.
The invention ensures that all members of a performance start and stop at the same time while maintaining consistent tempo. It's beneficial for any activity that requires tempo or synchronization, including dancers, musicians, teams, athletes and many others. It is adjustable, easy to use and durable for years of effective use. The stylish design, available in many colors, can be used during performances, unlike audio or visual metronomes.
The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
