Wedding florist Todich Floral Design unveils 2014 look book
London (PRWEB UK) 31 January 2014 -- Todich Floral Design, an award-winning wedding and events florist based in south London, has just revealed its 2014 look book featuring trend, colour and style predictions for spring, summer, autumn and winter wedding flowers this year. Following the first ever British Flowers Week at New Covent Garden Flower Market last year and a renewed focus on British floral heritage, it anticipates an ongoing trend towards the ‘British Country Garden’ style, with design inspiration coming from the sprawling historic gardens of stately homes.

This will translate to flowers for weddings and events that are natural and loose, with a touch of the whimsical too, in a nod to the fairytale walled garden in that famous historic novel, ‘The Secret Garden’. Full of pretty, delicate, seasonal blooms and foliage, designs will convey a sense of abundance and have a wild, ‘just picked’ look. Touches of topiary will feature in wedding reception flowers, and flower-covered walls, with items such as ladders, flower pots and watering cans to add a rustic feel.
Its colour palette for the look book is based around world renowned authority on colour Pantone’s colour of the year, ‘Radiant Orchid’; a captivating harmony of fuschia, purple and pink that emanates great joy, love and health and which has already featured heavily in the Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Week shows.
Spring flowers and designs for bridal flowers will reflect the riot of colour returning to British gardens after winter and provide the perfect opportunity to mix it up with contrasting brights. In summer, pops of pink will appear in full, round designs for wedding bouquets and flowers, whose colour palette conjures images of ice cream soda, strawberry sundaes and warm, hazy days. As autumn comes, the palette will deepen to provide a richer base of dusty pinks, purples and deep aubergines and in winter it will cool with frosty lilacs, whites and blues.
