Replacing the original Victorian that was once home to the Welch family, as well as Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group’s first residents, allows for a remodeled front entrance and creation of new outdoor resident patio, in addition to interior updates.
An expanded parking area with a new covered drive-up main entrance is being added for the convenience of residents, family and friends. A complete refurbishment of all resident rooms and common areas, and life safety systems is already underway. For the comfort of residents who require rehabilitation, the Welch Group nursing center is relocating the rehabilitation gym to the newly created post-acute short-term rehabilitation unit and adding a new dedicated living room and dining room.
