Well Care Home Health and Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) partner to launch innovative software for home monitoring with mobile apps for nurses and caregivers
Wilmington, NC (PRWEB) July 12, 2016 -- Well Care Home Health, a North Carolina based home health agency, and Health Recovery Solutions (HRS), a software company started at Johns Hopkins University, began this week providing an innovative telehealth remote monitoring program to Well Care’s patients across 43 counties in North Carolina.
Well Care Home Health will use HRS’s new Clinician Connect and Caregiver Connect mobile apps, which allow nurses in the field as well as the patient’s family caregivers to receive high- risk alerts from tablets that monitor and engage patients. Both the nurses and family members will be able to conduct video calls, phone calls, or text messages directly to the patient’s tablet.

HRS’s disease-specific software engages patients with educational videos, teach-back quizzes, care plans and surveys, and allows for video conferencing with nurses and family members. Customizable software is loaded on tablets to provide telehealth monitoring while integrating with wireless Bluetooth devices.
