WellCare Opens Welcome Room in League City, Texas

WellCare’s Welcome Rooms are neighborhood health care information, education and sales centers that are open to the public and staffed by WellCare associates to answer questions about Medicare health plans and eligibility.
At the Sept. 6 celebration, WellCare welcomed more than 75 people including local dignitaries Alicen Newman, President, North Galveston County Chamber of Commerce, and Logan Jack representing State Rep. Dr. Greg Bonnen, R-League City.

With the upcoming Medicare open enrollment period, which runs between October and December, this new facility will be a valuable resource for the approximately 30,000 Medicare-eligible residents of League City and surrounding communities.
The WellCare Welcome Room is located at 2945 Gulf Freeway S., Suite F, League City, TX 77573. As of June 30, 2013, WellCare serves 98,000 Texas residents who are enrolled in its Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug programs.
