Wellcentive and The Physician Alliance to Share Population Health Management Best Practices at The National Accountable Care Congress Nov. 5
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Terry Boch, Wellcentive senior vice president of sales and marketing, will co-present with Michael Madden, president and CEO of The Physician Alliance (TPA) at the Fourth Annual National Accountable Care Congress in Los Angeles on Nov. 5. The presentation, titled “Don't Boil the Ocean: Gain Immediate Value Practicing Responsible Population Health Management,” will cover proven methodologies for improving clinical and financial outcomes in population health programs.
“Population health management programs have complex requirements and a multitude of variables, which can make the transition from volume to value-based medicine particularly challenging,” said Wellcentive’s Boch. “The Wellcentive-TPA session will present real-world examples and best practices that can help organizations more quickly realize population health success and improved outcomes.”
Wellcentive has been partnered with TPA, one of Michigan’s largest physician organizations, to not only streamline the capture, aggregation, management and reporting of critical data as required by numerous quality programs, but also to help TPA and its providers use this focused, actionable data to proactively improve the care of the patient populations they serve. “To date, approximately 350 of our 2,100 physicians are actively engaged with the population health management program we implemented with Wellcentive, ” said Madden. “It’s a remarkable success story that we look forward to sharing with other provider organizations in Los Angeles next week.”
The Wellcentive-TPA presentation is scheduled for 3:45 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Interested parties who aren’t attending the congress can sign up for webcast access at http://www.acocongressportal.com.
