Welsh among 11 New Languages Added to Learning App uTalk
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 24 February 2015 -- uTalk is a free app made by language learning company EuroTalk. It provides users with key vocabulary in all 111 languages, ensuring that wherever they are, they have access to the essential words they need to get by. The new languages added in the latest update are Arabic (Moroccan), Flemish, Georgian, German (Swiss), Khmer, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Luxembourgish, Maori, Tajiki, Welsh and Zulu.
“We’re really excited about this update,” says Richard Howeson, EuroTalk’s chairman. “Since uTalk first launched, we’ve had lots of requests for new languages - Welsh was a particularly popular one - and we’re delighted to be able to give our customers what they want. But it doesn’t stop there; we’re already working on more languages ready for the next update.”
For users who want to go beyond essentials like ‘hello’, ‘thank you’ and ‘I don’t understand’, uTalk offers Essential and Premium upgrades in each of the 111 languages. Essentials (£7.99) offers 360 words and phrases, while the Premium upgrade (£12.99) includes 1,200 across 35 categories.
Within each category, addictive games and activities help transfer the vocabulary from the device to the user’s memory. The app can also be used as interactive phrasebook while travelling, using the Instant Search function to find and hear the word or phrase needed, when it’s needed.
In addition, each language includes a culture section, with vocabulary specifically related to the country where that language is spoken. The app also includes a World Tour, for added motivation, in which users collect achievements to take them on a round-the-world journey.
uTalk is available to download now from the App Store.
