West Michigan Roofing & Construction Expands Line of Roofing Materials with the Matterhorn
Spring Lake, MI (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- West Michigan Roofing & Construction is excited to announce the expansion of their roofing material offerings to include the Matterhorn, which is a type of metal roofing. The company decided to add the Matterhorn to their offerings because more customers have been requesting it and to keep up with the roofing industry.
The Matterhorn is produced by a company called Quality Edge, which is located in Walker, MI. It’s a metal style roof, which is typically used for retro-roofing existing homes, but it can also be used in new construction.
The West Michigan Roofing & Construction crew of field representatives and installers visited the Quality Edge manufacturing plant to become familiar with the new material. There, they learned how the product is made and how to install it over 10 hours’ worth of training sessions through the winter. The Matterhorn is now available for sale.
The Matterhorn is an Energy Star rated product and has a G-90 coating, which allows it to reflect 70% of the heat from the sun, which helps regulate the indoor temperature of a home. The material is also an easier one to install than other types of metal roofing and can be installed on existing homes.
Owner of West Michigan Roofing & Construction Michael Megna says that the addition of the Matterhorn product is helping the company stay competitive within the industry and allows it to offer a product that more and more homeowners and business owners are asking about.
“We really wanted to add this product to our line because the retro roofing market is expanding; more people are asking about metal roofing in general,” said Megna. “That’s what draws us to the Matterhorn.”
