Westin Denver International Airport Announces Activation of Online Reservations For Stays On and After December 1st, 2015 at Hotel and Conference Center
(PRWEB) July 31, 2015 -- The Westin Denver International Airport, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HOT), announced today that its online reservation system is now open, allowing guests to actively book a stay at the hotel and conference center on and after December 1st, 2015. The hotel also revealed that it will offer SPG Keyless technology, the hospitality industry’s first mobile, keyless entry system, introduced in November by Starwood Preferred Guest® (SPG®), the award-winning loyalty program. Guests can check-in right from their devices, head straight to their rooms, bypassing the front desk, and unlock their doors right from the SPG app.
Opening November 19th, 2015, the 433,000 square foot hotel is now taking reservations for its 519 guest rooms, including 35 suites. Located perpendicular to Jeppesen Terminal, The Westin Denver International Airport will serve as a relaxing and modern escape for both business and leisure travelers at Denver International Airport, the fifth busiest airport in the United States. With wall-to-wall windows in every one of its guest rooms and suites, The Westin Denver International Airport provides expansive views of Denver’s signature Rocky Mountains, Colorado’s High Plains and the airport itself. Each room offers revitalizing comfort with Westin’s signature Heavenly® Bed and Heavenly® Bath amenities, including the Heavenly® Shower. The hotel also offers an impressive top-floor pool and WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, located in the “saddle” of the building.
“We are thrilled to have reached this milestone, and to be inching closer and closer to our opening day,” said Tom Curley, general manager for The Westin Denver International Airport. “Constantly seeking to fulfill our brand promise For A Better You, we are equally as excited to be offering Starwood’s latest SPG Keyless technology, redefining the traditional hotel experience and allowing guests to get to their hotel rooms quickly after a day of long travel.”
In November 2014, Starwood redefined hotel check-in with the introduction of SPG Keyless. Starwood partnered with ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, to develop an all-new Bluetooth-enabled lock and keyless software, designed to securely recognize and connect with a guest’s mobile device or Apple Watch. With SPG Keyless, guests no longer have to visit the front desk. SPG members can simply check-in on the SPG app to receive their room number and a virtual key, and upon arrival walk directly to their room and use their mobile phone or Apple Watch as a key. SPG Keyless is currently available for over 30,000 doors across nearly 150 Aloft, Element and W properties worldwide.
The Westin Denver International Airport features a 37,000 square foot above-ground conference center, which includes a grand ballroom, junior ballroom and 15 additional meeting/board rooms. The meeting space also boasts an almost 10,000 square foot pre-function area that showcases a panoramic three-story floor-to-ceiling glass wall approximately 100 ft. wide, providing a unique, light and airy meeting space.
