Westview Promenade Hosts Rock the Need: Donation Drive and Concert
Frederick, Maryland (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- On Wednesday, July 22nd from 6:00-8:00pm, bring your family and invite your friends for Rock the Need: Donation Drive and Concert at Westview Promenade, home of Regal Cinemas. Rock the Need will provide live music and a donation drop-off point for contributions.
Music for the evening is provided by two great bands - Seven x Seventy and Street Noise! Seven x Seventy, was named Frederick’s number one Christian rock band on Reverbnation.com and was the first Christian rock band asked to play at Celebrate Frederick’s In The Street festival. They blend many rock styles together into a classic sound all their own using textured guitar tones, three part vocal harmonies and a Christian message. The band is comprised of Christian men who used to tour with secular rock and heavy metal bands; some of which they have collectively shared the stage with include Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Kix, Blue Oyster Cult, Wrathchild America, Childs Play and Pillar.
Street Noise is celebrating their 25th year playing together! Billed as a "classic rock", Street Noise plays everything from new rock to old funk! Vocals and harmonies are always at the forefront of their music.
Not only will you be thoroughly entertained, but you can help local charities while enjoying an evening out. Guests may bring the following items: clothing, shoes, books and videos to help fund Goodwill’s community job skills and development programs or hygiene items and non-bleach cleaning products for Religious Coalition clients. All who donate will receive a gift from Westview Promenade.
Seven x Seventy will play from 6:00 – 7:00pm and Street Noise from 7:00 to 8:00pm. The concert is free to the public.
