Westwicke Partners Hires New Senior-Level Director to Specialize in Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology
Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) March 11, 2015 -- Westwicke Partners, the largest healthcare-focused investor relations (IR) firm in the country, announced today the addition of Patti Bank as a new Managing Director to lead the fast-growing Life Sciences division of its San Francisco office. Ms. Bank will provide strategic investor relations and capital markets advisory services to public and private healthcare companies, with a focus on pharmaceutical/specialty pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

Ms. Bank’s Wall Street experience includes more than 20 years as a sell-side equity analyst covering the pharmaceutical and specialty pharmaceutical sectors, along with five years as a senior pharmaceutical medical representative. Most recently, she served as a Managing Director at Discern Analytics, where she founded the company’s healthcare vertical and developed a large-scale data analytics platform to track early investment trends affecting specialty pharmaceutical stocks.
Previously, Ms. Bank was a Senior Vice President at Pacific Growth Equities (acquired by Wedbush) and at Vector Securities (acquired by Prudential), two research and strategic advisory firms focused on small-to-mid capitalization healthcare companies. In these roles, she participated in several initial public offerings, capital raises, and mergers and acquisitions. She also covered companies across a broad range of therapeutic areas, from gastrointestinal and respiratory to pain management, diabetes, dermatology, and the central nervous system.
