Whale’s Tale Waterpark Purchases Liquid Planet Water Park and Makes Plans for the 2016 Season
(PRWEB) December 08, 2015 -- Liquid Planet Water Park in Candia, NH is under new ownership after being bought at auction December 2nd. The new owner, NLI LLC who also own Whale’s Tale Waterpark and Alpine Adventures, two award winning New Hampshire attractions, has expressed their excitement at the possibility of expanding on the vision of the original owners. “We look forward to growing the company by adding new adventures for all ages in both the northern and southern parts of the state” says Jeff Woodward, managing partner of NLI.
Under its new ownership, the water park will be open for the 2016 season and weather permitting, will be adding several hundred thousand dollars of new adventure opportunities for the whole family to enjoy. The park will be renamed to represent all of the exciting attractions the park will have to offer and will be announced at a later date. Liquid Planet currently has a natural pond with a beach for swimming, four water slides, including two new speed slides added last year and a state of the art spray area geared toward young kids. It is located on approximately 45 acres with space available for development and expansion.
“Liquid Planet will be a great addition to our family,” says Woodward. Whale’s Tale Waterpark and Alpine Adventures are both located in the basecamp of the White Mountains in Lincoln, NH. Whale’s Tale Waterpark is known as “New England’s Favorite Waterpark” and was also named one of TripAdvisor’s “Top 25 Water Parks in the U.S.” Whale’s Tale has been in business for almost 30 years and has grown to include eighteen slides and attractions appealing to thrill seekers and kids of all ages alike. Their park consistently ranks among top tier waterparks throughout the country with people’s choice awards and multiple awards of excellence from the World Waterpark Association.
Alpine Adventures is a year round, award winning operation that offers a wide range of adventures. Alpine was one of the first zipline destinations in the country and the first in New England. They’ve expanded over the years to offer three different zipline courses, the first Off-Road Tour in New England and the Thrillsville Aerial Adventure Park. Last winter, Alpine added Backcountry Snowshoe Tours to truly become a four season adventure destination.
