Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- How should new software affiliates go about creating their own landing pages, when they have no experience? Where can they get training on how to do so? And what are the precise elements of a successful landing page?

Super affiliate and Boost Software™ Co-founder Amit Mehta teaches the elements of a successful landing page as part of the Boost Affiliates affiliate and media training course.

The module, entitled “Setting Up Your Landing Page,” goes over the Top 10 elements of a successful landing page. Mehta also lets software affiliates in on the number one action goal of every landing page created for a PC Health Boost ™ campaign (surprisingly, it's not to make sales).

“This works much better than having a buy link or mentioning the price,” says Mehta about the “secret” element. After nearly three years of testing the PC HealthBoost™ campaign on the market, Mehta has discovered that with this one element, “the product will sell itself.”

Of course, a landing page takes more than one “secret” tip in order to be effective. Every element of a landing page should drive customers to that one action, according to Mehta.

The 10 points and #1 goal are all listed in text on the page, which makes it easy for affiliates to print or write down for their own personal use. Mehta also includes a five minute video that details how to create a landing page.

Mehta discusses a simple change to the top menu bar that he has found results in increased conversions. He also discusses a must-have image (the download button), what it should say, what elements it should have next to it, and even what color he has found to be most successful for PC HealthBoost™ buttons. In addition, he discusses where to put the page's main keyword in order to make this button (and the whole page) more effective.

For affiliates who want to gain more trust (and therefore more sales) from their customers, Mehta shows how. A large part of his strategy is to put trust seals earned from real awards and high-quality review sites (such as Tucows and Brothersoft) on the page. These trust seals are included in the “Graphics” section of the Boost Affiliates website.

In addition to the above, Mehta also advises affiliates to let customers know that Boost Software™ is a Microsoft Gold Partner, an earned trust status that lets potential customers know that the software is trustworthy and puts them at ease. In addition, Mehta explains PC HealthBoost's™ Facebook page (with nearly 15,000 likes as of September 2013) as social proof to improve conversions.

For new software affiliates who aren't yet comfortable creating their own landing pages, or for experienced affiliates who want to get started ASAP, the Boost Affiliates members section includes several downloadable landing pages that affiliates can use and/or tweak as needed.
