What's New With The 2019 Toyota RAV4?

One of the fastest and best-selling corners of the vehicle market is the small-crossover and SUV section. These vehicles offer great towing capacity, excellent power, and a large amount of space without ever breaking the bank, and one of the best-selling vehicles in this section is the Toyota RAV4, and this vehicle will look a little different as of 2019!

The Toyota RAV4 is getting a redesign for 2019, boasting an all-new platform and plenty of excellent features, powertrains, and great technologies! This includes a brawny new look, which features a rear-end that looks inspired by the Toyota Highlander and a new two-tone paint scheme for interested buyers to enjoy!

Additionally, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 will be more powerful than ever, offering a 15 percent increase in horsepower and performance according to Toyota. The engine will remain the same standard four-cylinder and 2.5-liters of displacement, however, so a turbo system is suspected to be the cause. No exact figures have been released, but a jump of 15 percent would place the new Toyota RAV4 in the 200-horsepower range.

Included in this power-boosting package is a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which is going to replace the old six-speed transmission that the last model had to offer. This means more power management and a strong acceleration overall!

These are just some of the excellent features and powertrain systems that the new 2019 Toyota RAV4 is said to offer when it hits the dealerships in winter of this year.
