Why Black Dog Design Is the Perfect Fit for Poverty Resolutions
Doylestown, PA (PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- What do you get when you put a graphic design company together with a local non-profit? You get effective, well-designed, and creative campaigns and fundraisers. Kelly Cavallo, from Black Dog Design, has done just that for non-profit organization Poverty Resolutions. Both businesses, located near Doylestown, Pennsylvania, have joined together in recent campaigns and plan to continue working together in upcoming events and campaigns that Poverty Resolutions has in store.
In the past, Kelly and her company have helped design the images, logos, and materials for several campaigns such as: Live/Give campaign, Race Against Poverty 5k, and others. Not only has Black Dog Design helped with fundraising campaigns that Poverty Resolutions has held, but they have designed the pamphlets, handouts, flyers, and materials for the educational presentations that the organization puts on at local elementary schools.
Co-founder Andrew Jones says, “Kelly is not only creative, but she thinks outside the box. She thinks of ideas and designs that never would have crossed our minds before. It’s exciting and encouraging to work with someone who does their job so well, and will do more than the job requires for our non-profit organization.”
Jones also mentions how it was Kelly’s idea to put facts and statistics on their Facebook page. “This is something that you see Invisible Children and Charity Water doing now. It wasn’t always first thought to put the information out there, but with Kelly’s suggestion we see that making people aware of the facts is an important part in raising awareness about poverty and living on one dollar a day.”
Poverty Resolutions wants to send a thank you to Black Dog Design and Kelly Cavallo for all their continued help and creativity. They are looking forward to working more with the company in the future and are excited for the upcoming campaigns that will be released in the next few months.
