Wi-Tronix, LLC Names Walter Kane Marine Product Line Manager
Bolingbrook, Ill. (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- Wi-Tronix, LLC is pleased to announce Walter Kane as its Marine Product Line Manager. Walter will reaffirm Wi-Tronix's commitment to the marine market.
Walter is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of Wi-Tronix's expansion into the marine market. He will drive the marine product line and sales life cycles from strategic planning to tactical activities, manage the customer experience across the marine business, and deliver value for marine customers around the world.
With more than 30 years of professional experience in the maritime industry, Walter brings a wealth of skills and knowledge in technical vessel operations, terrestrial and satellite communications, managed services, systems integration, and project management. Walter's previous positions include roles in executive sales management, operations engineering, product management, technical services, customer support, and various leadership roles. He also served as a USCG and FCC licensed Radio Electronics Officer on a variety of U.S. Merchant Marine vessels including crude oil supertankers, freighters, and containerships. His service included duty on strategic assets, and maritime prepositioning vessels operated by the Military Sealift Command and U.S. Maritime Administration during military operations Earnest Will, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. As a young man, Walter honorably served a four year tour of duty in the U.S. Coast Guard as Radioman, including 14 months of sea duty aboard USCGC Ingham.
