WICR Waterproofing & Decking and the Community Associations Institute of Los Angeles (CAI-GLAC), Work Together to Join the 2015 Spark of Love Toy Drive
Canoga Park, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2015 -- WICR Waterproofing and Decking is part of CAI-GLAC’s Community Outreach Committee, which organized and promoted a collection of toy donations at the Westfield Mall in Canoga Park today. Together, they filled a caravan of vehicles full of toys, and dressed in holiday costumes to make the charitable delivery. Vehicles were decorated with WICR Waterproofing’s trademark, the rubber duck.
Aptly named the “Stuff A Bus” event, ABC7 Eyewitness News was on hand to gather live coverage as the toys were ‘stuffed’ into large buses to be sorted, wrapped and distributed to underprivileged children in Los Angeles for the holidays.
“This is our favorite event of the year”, said WICR’s Sean Krubinski. “Our entire staff gets involved to collect toys and take part in the delivery. It makes us proud to be part of the CAI organization, as this is one of the many community outreach projects they contribute to each year.”
The Spark of Love Toy Drive collected more than 500,000 toys last year.
