Dr. Adams brings over 35 years of health care industry experience, primarily in provider organization operations and billing, payer operations, large system implementations, mandates compliance and as a deep domain consultant in ICD-10 and 5010.

Starting next October, the ICD-9 code sets used to report medical diagnoses and inpatient procedures will be replaced by ICD-10 code sets. The transition to ICD-10 is required for everyone covered by the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA).
