Widely Anticipated Coro Mendocino 14th Vintage Release Party set for June 24th in Hopland
Hopland, California (PRWEB) May 30, 2017 -- Coro Mendocino (http://www.CoroMendocino.com), a unique collection of ultra-premium wines produced to showcase the rich heritage and remarkable characteristics of Mendocino County, will celebrate the release of their 14th vintage on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 in Hopland, California. Brutocao Cellars is hosting the celebration this year at their Contento Vineyard site just outside the scenic town of Hopland. Each of the vintages seven producers will be pouring their Coro during a seated tasting followed by a dinner buffet. Also vintage Coro’s from 2002, 2003 and 2004 from all past producers will be available for tasting. This will be a do not miss event.
“We are ecstatic to be hosting the Release Party," states Hoss Milone, Marketing Manager for Coro Mendocino and Winemaker at Brutocao Cellars. “This party initiates our 2014 Vintage Winemaker Dinner series with dinners to follow this next Fall, Winter and Spring that showcase individual Coro winemakers and the other wines they produce outside of the Coro protocol. The principal purpose of Coro is to put a spotlight on the quality of our Mendocino grapes and the beautiful well structured wines they produce. We are looking forward to sharing the Coro story with our expanding audience.”
The nights festivities include a welcome reception with passed appetizers and selected wines from our producers, a seated focused tasting of the 2014 vintage introduced by the winemakers, a catered paella dinner buffet (with a vegan option) by world famous Gerard’s Paella and dessert which includes assorted Port and dessert wines. See accompanying file for the dinner menu.
Every Coro wine is a signature blend from 100 percent Mendocino County grapes, individually crafted in Mendocino County, following a strict series of protocols prescribed by the Consortium Mendocino and inspired by European fine wine categories like Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhone region of France or the ubiquitous Tuscan Chianti Classico.
Of course, no two Coro wines are ever exactly alike and attendees will be the first to taste the 2014 vintage at the official Coro Release Party.

About Coro Mendocino
Established in 2000, Coro is the only American example of winemakers coming together to set standards for a class of wines to represent a particular wine region. That region is Mendocino County, a diverse area that encompasses a variety of climates and soils, and boasts a mixture of multi-generational winemakers with deep Italian roots alongside newcomers with varied backgrounds. Coro means chorus in Italian and it represents the crafting of the Mendocino terroir into wines that “sing” on the palate.
