Wild Calling Proudly Announces the Highly Anticipated Launch of Grain-Free Dry Dog Food – Visit Booth 1331 at Backer’s Total Pet Expo to Learn More
Greeley, CO (PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- Wild Calling, the Greeley, CO based pet food company with a popular canned dog and cat food line is excited to announce the launch of two grain and gluten free dry dog food lines – Rocky Mountain Medley & Western Plains Stampede. The company will begin shipping product to independent pet retailers on October 10, 2013, furthering the fast growing startups quest to provide quality grain-free, protein-rich diets for companion pets.
Based on protein pairings from the land, air and sea, the Rocky Mountain Medley line offers three meat rich diets: 1. Fresh Trout, Lamb Meal and Turkey Meal; 2. Fresh Duck, Salmon Meal and Lamb Meal; 3. Fresh Elk, Whitefish Meal and Turkey Meal. The Western Plains Stampede line is a single protein diet designed to help limit allergies caused by protein sensitivities. The line features three diets packed with fresh beef, turkey or whitefish. In addition to being grain and gluten free, all Wild Calling! diets are now designed for rotational feeding. According to the family-owned, family-run company, there’s “nothing wilder.”
Wild Calling’s packaging may be the most artistic in the industry, and their formulations are product of much thought, care and consideration something Tim Petersen, owner, calls ‘The Art of Nutrition’. Tim commented, “We assembled a team of the most knowledgeable nutrition experts in the industry to formulate the highest quality diet for our companion pets. But we felt we couldn’t stop there. We needed the quality of our product to be reflected in our packaging, so we put much effort and consideration into creating packaging which is innovative and conveys the natural quality of our products.”
Meat, poultry and fish constitute over 55% of Rocky Mountain Medley diets. All three diets are highly digestible and 100% grain and gluten free. Better yet, over 90% of the protein is from animal protein. It’s a rotational diet comprised of three distinct meat sources, because each type of meat has slightly different nutrients.
Western Plains Stampede is a single-animal protein diet to limit sensitivities found in some dogs. There’s no chicken, egg, grain, gluten, yeast culture, corn, or soy in Western Plains Stampede products. Better yet, over 70% of the protein is from animal protein.
Both Rocky Mountain Medley and Western Plains Stampede are formulated to promote health in all ages and breeds of dogs: Timed-release carbs for consistent energy (tapioca, sweet potato and lentils); a unique ‘biotic blend’ of probiotic seaweed meal––proven to be 4X more effective than inulin or chicory root, and prebiotic Bacillus subtillus that is shelf stable; Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids for skin and coat health; Vitamins C and E and superfoods fruits and veggies contain anti-oxidants to support immune health; A complete amino acid profile.
“To our family,” owner Tim Petersen says, “pet food is personal.”
