Wild Friends Introduces New Nut Butter Oat Cups at Expo East Booth 8401
(PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- Wild Friends Foods today announced the launch of new Nut Butter Oat Cups. The new oat cup line, available for purchase in October at Sprouts Market locations throughout the country, will feature a base of rolled oats, chia and flax plus the addition of a single serve nut butter packet. The first two flavor varieties to launch include two popular Wild Friends’ flavors: Almond Cashew Super Butter or Peanut Cashew Super Butter.
Ringing in at 13g -14g of protein per oatmeal cup, and only 3g of sugar, Wild Friends is introducing an improved nutrition panel and taste profile into the hot cereal aisle by bringing protein-packed nut butter into the mix.
“For years, we’ve seen our consumers add spoonfuls of our nut butters to their oatmeal, but that can be a hard breakfast to pack along with you. So we created a simple, healthy and portable version of this delicious breakfast to match the busy lives of our consumers,” says Co-Founder Keeley Tillotson.
During the Nut Butter Oat Cup research and development process, Wild Friends enlisted their Instagram followers to provide feedback on the initial versions of the product. The feedback helped Wild Friends determine the ideal formula and packaging. “Involving our most dedicated fans gave us confidence launching a product in a new category,” says Co-Founder Erika Welsh. “Not only was it helpful from a tactical stance, it has also made the process more fun and rewarding knowing we’re creating a product that will improve our consumers’ day to day lives.”
