Wildfire Defense System for Homes Invented by InventHelp Client (POO-243)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 13, 2017 -- Each year, thousands of people die from fires and the property damage reaches billions of dollars. Although individuals can practice a high level of fire safety in the home, there is no way to predict or avoid wildfires causes by natural occurrences such as lightening.
Two inventors from Portland, Ore., have invented SECONDARY DEFENSE, a wildfire defense system for homes located in wooded areas. "We have seen far too many news stories about families who lost everything due to a forest fire," said one of the inventors. "We came up with this system to help save more homes from wildfires." SECONDARY DEFENSE provides a fast and effective way of preventing a home from becoming engulfed in flames.
This invention increases the safety of pre-existing structures, particularly those that are made with flammable materials. Additionally, it could potentially qualify individuals for discounts on fire insurance premiums.
The original design was submitted to the Portland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
