In his latest publication, the co-author of the definitive volume on the Saint Patrick Day Parade controversy, “From Trial Court to the United States Supreme Court; Anatomy of a Free Speech Case” (Branden 1995), raises awareness on the corruption and destructive practices taking place in the judicial systems as well as the press and media.
“Character Assassins II” is highly critical of the federal government, the Justice Department and courts throughout America. It rebukes prominent public figures in law and the media. Essentially, it is a brief history of the consequences of bearing false witness. It tells how “toxic talk” has led to shunning, branding, witch hunts, persecutions, prosecutions, executions, pogroms, famines, wars and genocides. From small acorns great oaks grow, and from small lies come poisonous fruits: ruined reputations, divided neighborhoods, class hatreds, clan violence, ethnic cleanings and blood libels, preludes to the twentieth century’s worst horrors.

About the Author
William M. Connolly, raised in South Boston and Savin Hill, holds degrees from Suffolk University Law School (J.D.), Harvard School of Public Health (M.P.H.) and Boston College (B.S. Biology). He served as a Commissioned Officer in the U. S. Public Health Service from 1975 to 1977. He has worked in many diverse fields. He co-authored, with Paul J. Walkowski, the definitive book on the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade controversy, “From Trial Court to the United States Supreme Court; Anatomy of a Free Speech Case” (Branden 1995). He also authored “One Life” (Xlibris 2001), “Shots Heard Round the World: Americans Answer the Call to Arms” (Xlibris, 2003), “The Fix” (Xlibris, 2006), “Character Assassins,” first edition (Xlibris 2012), and “Mac the Dog,” a novel (Xlibris 2013).
