William Kasper, MD Garden City Ophthalmologist, Joins Medical Staff at North Shore Eye Care

Kasper, MD., F.A.C.S. to their medical staff, according to North Shore Eye Care Medical Director, Jeffrey Martin, MD.
Dr. Kasper is the Emeritus Acting Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology of Winthrop-University Hospital and has maintained an active and successful practice in Garden City for more than 30 years. He has been named to the ‘Best Doctors in NY Metro Area’ by Castle, Connolly Medical Ltd and was named ‘Top Ophthalmologist’ by the Consumers Research Council of America.

Dr. Kasper completed his undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College and attended medical school at Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. He then went on to complete his residency here at the Nassau County Medical Center. Today, he maintains hospital appointments at Mercy Hospital Center, Nassau University Medical Center and Garden City Surgicenter. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons and the Nassau Academy of Medicine.
