William Lawrence Adams Announces Release of ‘Pennsylvania Amazon Princess Railroad’
Silas, Ala. (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- “Pennsylvania’s Amazon Princess Railroad” (published by AuthorHouse) was first conceived by Neville B. Craig after an expedition to the Amazon River Complex – the first all-American expedition to South America. The book was first published in 1907 and now is being rereleased to a new generation of Americans by William Lawrence Adams. The book, in essence, looks at the railroad project that was started because of the visit from Emperor Dom Pedro II to North America, and how it was supposed to help Bolivia gain access to the Atlantic Ocean trade routes of that day, but fell short because of European bond-holder fraud.
“It is time for the total of all Americas to revisit our historical ties within,” states Adams. “Brazil and the United States are the sibling partners of the new Americas Empire that has grown out of Dom Pedro II visiting the Philadelphia Centennial in 1876 and the first development of the Madeira River port of Porto Velho, Rondonioa State, Brazil.”
“Pennsylvania’s Amazon Princess Railroad” is an "after-action" collection holding the personal papers and writings of the expedition leaders collected to explain how the railroad came into being and how it ultimately collapsed under fraud and a lack of skill/resources.
“I want to challenge the industrial giants of Pennsylvania to get tax deductions by creating a cultural and educational non-profit, Amazon Princess Railroad Museum Association. To get it up and functioning quickly, while I'm still alive and can be a consultant (by phone), they should put it into an Amazon Town Trust Association fund the sum of $25.00 and buy copies of this challenging to forget book for each employee and family associate,” says Adams, “and of course provide this book to all Pennsylvania schools and railroad museums. The museum will be built at Porto Velho, Rondonia State, Brazil at the Bolivian border on the Mamore-Madeira Rivers.”
