Williams Mullen Welcomes Lobbyists Angela I. Bezik and Julianna M. Dime
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) April 25, 2014 -- Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Angie Bezik and Julie Dime, formerly with the well-respected consulting and government relations firm Principle Advantage, have brought their experience to Williams Mullen’s State Government Relations team. Ms. Bezik will be working out of the Virginia Beach office, and Ms. Dime will be working out of the Northern Virginia office in Tysons Corner.
Ms. Bezik works with clients across a broad range of industries. She has developed successful strategies for legislation, budget items and project coordination with an array of clients at the state and local level, including clients within the alternative/renewable and traditional energy, health, technology and transportation sectors, and local government. She has also worked on numerous grassroots and grass tops efforts, coordinating messaging and delivery and tracking content. Ms. Bezik has particular experience with renewable energy, especially solar and offshore wind energy. She has worked on issues and advocacy spanning academia and industry since 2006, providing public outreach and government affairs services to numerous environmental industry groups and universities.
Ms. Dime has more than 16 years of political and legislative experience including government relations, campaign management, grassroots management, public speaking, fundraising, community outreach initiatives and both federal and state legislative processes. She has been active in Virginia political circles for many years, and, as such, she has established a substantial network of resources and connections in Virginia and the District of Columbia, including local elected officials as well as community and business leaders. This extensive experience provides insight into the navigation of government channels. She also draws on her vast and established network of personal and professional relationships, including elected officials, key staff, business leaders and trade association executives, members of the media and grassroots/grasstops leaders for additional insight. Ms.Dime has a proven record of managing multifaceted bi-partisan legislative and public affairs campaigns at the federal, state and local level by developing coalitions through numerous partnerships with small and large corporate clients. Her representative experience includes issues relating to tax policy, information technology, energy, health care, transportation, telecommunications, and voter security.
