Wimbledon Health Partners and Bigfoot Hoops a Slam Dunk Partnership for Las Vegas Classic
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) July 05, 2016 -- Wimbledon Health Partners, the industry leader in on-site diagnostic testing for athletic programs and physicians, announces slam dunk partnership with Bigfoot Hoops to provide on-site cardiovascular testing to tournament players during the Las Vegas Classic on July 21-24.
A premier event for the past 20 years, the Las Vegas Classic will bring together nearly 950 competitive basketball teams in all age groups to cap the recruiting and tournament season. To ensure all athletes participating in this tournament take the precautionary measures to make sure their hearts are healthy, Wimbledon Health Partners will be performing cardiovascular testing on players between the ages of 12-25 on site between games.
“It is such a privilege to have Wimbledon Health Partners at the tournament this year providing this important service to our players,” says Hal Pastner, founder of Bigfoot Hoops. “Promoting early testing and identification of cardiac issues in young athletes is something our organization believes strongly in, and we want to give our players, as well as their parents, coaches and recruiters, peace of mind when it comes to their heart health.”
Athletes with clean results will receive an official certificate from Wimbledon Health Partners stating their “heart healthy” status. For any issues detected, the athlete and/or parent will be alerted immediately.
