Wind Energy O&M brings over 14GW of experience to Hamburg

The Forum will be launched with a pre-event workshop hosted exclusively by Romax Technology on Enabling Predictive Maintenance, looking into approaches to solve key reliability issues and how to predict remaining useful life of a machine.
Day 1 of the forum includes keynote sessions from E.ON’s Head of Asset Optimisation, Renske Ijtsma, on standardising their O&M approach globally across both onshore and offshore projects. An Operator super panel including speakers from WPD Windmanager, Vattenfall, Centrica, ERG Renew and VERBUND led by the CEO of 8.2 Consulting AG focuses on adapting O&M models according to portfolio size and how other owner operators can hand-pick learnings that are relevant to them.
An in-depth lunch-time workshop, hosted by Gamesa will review case studies on ‘making old from new’ covering a variety of turbine technologies and brands. And to close day 1, SPX Hydraulic Technologies and GE will (respectively) discuss a future view of the evolution of integrity management at an optimized commercial and technical level and a view into cost of energy reduction through increasing wind-farm efficiency and cutting operational costs.
The evening will then begin with Lubricant Sponsors Fluitec hosting a drinks and canapés reception in the beautiful Weißer Saal overlooking the winter garden at the fantastic Hotel Atlantic Kempinski.
Day 2 of the forum takes a strong focus on asset optimisation and data analysis with the CEO of GreenSolver, Guy Auger showing delegates how to get a full understanding of asset behaviour followed shortly by an asset optimisation panel discussing the impact of asset optimisation on the O&M of a wind farm. This panel will be delivered by Fluitec, Ramboll Wind, Sgurr Energy and Energie Kontor. Day 2 will be closed by a joint presentation between Iberwind and Nordex on how a successful partnership has reduced the amount of downtime caused by converters.
