Windermere Homes & Estates Names Jim Berns Broker of Record
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2015 -- Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) co-owners, Rich Johnson and Brian Gooding are pleased to announce Jim Berns will be joining the management team as Broker of Record. Jim is three time “Broker of The Year” and well known along the I-15 corridor for his real estate knowledge, integrity and dedication to helping agents. “Jim is a perfect complement to our team. He has the same commitment to agent success we embody here at WHE and he brings an incredible wealth of real estate knowledge to our agents,” said Johnson.
In addition, the Realty Executive Advantage franchise in Scripps Ranch will merge with Windermere Homes & Estates, growing the WHE franchise to 8 offices in Southern California. The Scripps Ranch office has been owned and operated by Jim Berns since 1997 and currently has over 30 agents. Already the #1 Scripps Ranch office based on total dollar volume, the merger of Realty Executives Advantage with Windermere Homes & Estates will serve to improve service to the agents, as well as, to their Scripps Ranch clients.

Berns previously served on the Broker Advisory Council for Realty Executives International as the Broker Representative for all of California. Berns holds a master’s degree in communication and has earned both the CRB and CRS designations from the National Association of Realtors. He holds a lifetime teaching credential from the California Community of Colleges. Berns has also been recognized as an “expert witness” by the Superior Court of California.
Windermere Homes & Estates has expanded to eight offices in San Diego County and are the fourth largest residential real estate brokerage in San Diego based on sales volume. The company currently has a rolling 12-month sales volume of $875 million and this year, they expect to hit $1 billion.
