Window Treatment Store Owner Publishes Personal Interview
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) July 13, 2013 -- On July 8th, the owner of a luxury custom window treatment store known as The Curtain Exchange of St. Louis, Missouri published a personal interview about her family, her passion for home interior design, how she came to be a franchise owner, and how she feels about living in St. Louis.
A native of St. Louis, Ross grew up among a retail family business with a B.S. degree in Business and a corporate background in Human Resources. An entrepreneur at heart, Ross always wanted her own business and specifically chose The Curtain Exchange due to her love of working with customers on their design projects and watching them evolve through completion.
A home furnishing and stylist connoisseur, Ross came to the decision that she wanted to open The Curtain Exchange in her hometown where she was born and raised, St. Louis, Missouri, almost 9 years ago. A lover of the theatre, museums, sports teams, restaurants, schools, and people, Ross wanted to add another entity to this bustling yet quaint metropolis. Possessing a love of elegant drapery and a beautiful condominium furnished in 18th century English, Ross focused her attention on helping each customer find his or her own decorating voice.
“My favorite item from The Curtain Exchange in my home is my sheer crewel curtains overlaid on silk,” says Ross. “They’re hanging in my family room, the space in our home where my family and I spend most of our time.”
Ross has been happily married for 33 years and she and her husband have 3 children together. When she’s not working at The Curtain Exchange, Ross enjoys cooking, sports and spending time with her loved ones. “I love being a St. Louis native. It’s the perfect city because it’s not as large as other cities but it still has everything you could ever want or need,” says Ross.
The Curtain Exchange is located at 8119 Maryland Avenue in St. Louis and is open Tuesday through Saturday. For design ideas, those interested are encouraged to visit The Curtain Exchange’s Facebook and Pinterest pages.
