Windsor Marketing Group makes donations to help house fire victims celebrate Thanksgiving
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) November 24, 2014 -- Windsor Marketing Group (WMG) joined a group of local businesses in providing assistance for 39 people displaced by a Hartford house fire on Friday, Nov. 14.
The fire at 22-24 Hamilton Street completely destroyed the three-story apartment building, disrupting the lives of 10 local families. No one was seriously hurt in the blaze, although one child was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and was later released.
Windsor Marketing Group has provided 10 turkeys for a Thanksgiving meal to be held at Suso Latino Basket, a restaurant in Manchester, CT. Suso, organizers of the event, will prepare and serve the meals on Thanksgiving Day.
Led by CEO and Founder Kevin Armata, Windsor Marketing Group has been recognized for championing an environmentally and socially responsible business model. The company was recently recognized for the second year in a row as a winner of the Family Business Award as presented by the Hartford Business Journal.
Steve Sattler of Steve Sattler Films in Tolland, CT says the group is looking for potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, vegetable mix, family size stuffing bags and pies. Other arrangements and accommodations for the families are being handled by the Red Cross. Those wishing to contribute can contact the Hartford chapter of the Red Cross through redcross.org/ct.
